To make this delicious recipe, here's what you'll need:
1. 500 grams of pureed spinach
2. 1 kilo of mutton or lamb, cut into pieces
3. 3 tablespoons ginger and garlic
4. 4 medium sized onions, sliced or chopped
5. 3 tablespoons of oil
6. 2 to 3 cloves
7. 3 to 4 green chilies
8. 1 bay leaf
9. 1 inch of cinnamon
10. 2 black cardamoms
11. 2 teaspoons of garam masala powder (best if homemade)
12. 2 green cardamoms
13. Salt
Heat the oil in a pan and crackle the bay leaf, cloves, cardamoms and cinnamon. Add onions and sauté the mixture until it turns brownish. Put in the garlic, green chilies and ginger. Cook until everything turns into light brown. Add the meat in batches and roast them till it becomes evenly brown at all sides. Continue stirring and add the yogurt. Mix everything well. Finally, you can add the spinach, garam masala and salt. Bring everything to a boil, simmer until the meat is tender. Add water to achieve the sauce consistency that you desire.
